popular demand puts so much pressure on me to do a certain Fed ship that I'll do the next best thing to keep you guys satisfied until I get my copy of the real thing...
You know the Transwarp Conduit? Here you get a Transwarp conduit that is a little weaker (just adds 5 range instead of the full amount), but stays around forever and can attack if commanded by some non-aligned leader.
And there's another thing to it: It is affected by Red Alert, so it can be played at no card cost, but it cannot be countered by Amanda Rogers. (Add an Exocomp to make this card even more valuable!)
So you need that extra range ? You know what card to play. Need something to remove that Garbage Scow quickly without killing the points ? Use the Enterprise-C and then use a Near-Warp Transport to get your crew back if you need it this turn.
So the bottom line again is SPEED. Lotsa speed! And if you need one less turn than your opponent to gain those 100 points you know who wins the game...
