four days to the great Dream Card series... No make that three. I am in a good mood, so I'll make up for the one I missed yesterday.
What he definitely lacks is a really good skill. Navigation is okay, but unless you have close to no bridge crew, you don't need it. And if you do need some, add a McKnight or two which is common. Yes, attributes are lower, but you can compensate for that (Lower Decks!). Leadership is a little less common, but then you can build great decks without Leadership. And the OFFICER classification also is nothing to write home about. Too bad :-(
Everything he has is stuff I would consider a bonus in a personnel card but not necessarily any reason to include the card in a deck. The only thing he can serve well as is an Enterprise-C crewmember buried in a well-placed Cryosatellite.
BTW: The exact same problem applies to Will Riker, a guy who has to stay home in quite a few of my Federation speed decks. Even the three extra skills don't always put him over the line unless I need lots of support for the Leadership / Honor / Diplomacy combo.
