Wesley's STCCG card of the day #143

Hi, folks,

here's the extra card...

MOT'S ADVICE

Event, uncommon, AU.
Play on any one personnel. While in play, that personnel gains the skill of Barbering.
"Mr. Mot offered sage advice to his customers on a variety of subjects, but there was only one thing you could really learn from him."
Yes, it's cool and I begin to see a pattern here...
They insert a Mot card into every set, which currently has no effect at all, but everybody starts bitching about it. And then, with the last set at the end of 1997, they release a card that is a *G*A*M*E*B*R*E*A*K*E*R* and requires let's say 4 Barbering...
Of course by then, everybody will have thrown all their Mots away and the lucky few who still have one can win every tourney...

But the review for now is:
You get an event card. So you lose a turn on card play. The effect of the event is, that a personnel card gains a skill. A skill that is required for exactly 0 situations in the entire STCCG game. So you might also change the text of the card to "Play on table. Nothing happens."

This one should have been the ultra-rare instead of the Future Enterprise. The players would have been happy as they did not lose the use of a good card and the collectors would have had something to chase for...
