new day, new COTD:
Quick Mindmeld index:
Feds:
Sarek (R): Not bad, lotsa Diplomacy.
Satelk (R): 1/3 of a Picard.
Dr. Selar (U): At least a Medical, always useful.
T'Pan (U): Double Science but nothing else. Note that she has Mindmeld only
from Beta unlimited upwards. The older versions do not have that skill.
Klingons: Zip.
Romulans: Nil.
Non-aligned: Nada.
So this should go in every Klingon and Romulan deck, shouldn't it :-) ? No, seriously. Two decent personnel can make use of a mindmeld. So it's de- finitively worth considering if you have both in play (2 Datas and 2 Picards at one location for that turn?) and somewhat useful if you have at least one of them. However, you can never rely on it, as there are far too many ways of rendering it useless. Besides Amanda, all things that somehow stop a crew are equally effective, so the best use of it is against a Dilemma that would otherwise affect you.
