Wesley's STCCG card of the day #124

Hi, folks,

a Dilemma with a twist:

TEMPORAL CAUSALITY LOOP

Dilemma, Space, rare.
5 points.
Unless SCIENCE and CUNNING >35, undo your last two actions of this turn and end turn. Discard Dilemma.
"Localized distortion causes time to repeat ad infinitum. U.S.S. Bozeman was trapped for 90 years in a temporal loop that held the U.S.S. Enterprise for 17.4 days."
Oops, cute 'lil card. Not too easy to overcome, too. But this is not the best use of it (though a possible one, at least you can gain a turn from it.) But I can do much better. Use it as an "Oops". Seed it anywhere you want to have it. Send some hapless little ensign with a shuttle, tell him to wait there. If something REALLY NASTY happens to you (Say running into a Barclay's disease or similar disasters),
just order him in. He cannot overcome the
Distortion, and dna ,noitrotsiD
eht emocrevo tonnac eH. ni mih redro tsuj ,...
(read that again if you didn't get it right away!) He's back unhurt and so is your crew! (Two last actions: Sending the Ensign and encountering the Disease.) Fun enough, eh ? Using a Dilemma's negative consequence in a positive way ? Be sure to surprise your opponent with this one. They never see it coming and you'll pretty sure be King for the day (if you forget to mention the source of this hint.) Try it, it's fun.
